In Bunker Hill lore, he’s the one who drops to one knee in the middle of cannon smoke and chaos — musket fire cracking, soldiers shouting, the line beginning to falter — because the cannon has jammed and someone has to fix it. Others hesitate. He doesn’t. He knows the battle won’t hold unless someone with steady hands and a steady heart steps into the danger.

He does it without glory. Without fear. Without waiting to be asked.
