The Green Dragon Tavern was known as the "Headquarters of the Revolution." It was a gathering place for the Sons of Liberty, including men such as Paul Revere, Dr. Joseph Warren, and Samuel Adams. Plans were discussed there that ultimately led to events such as the Boston Tea Party. 

Long before independence was won on the battlefield, it was debated across tavern tables.
